Björk, always a step forward, in an avant-garde artist in music, visuals and fashion. Vulnicura tour stopped in Barcelona last night and it was inspiring; heart-tearing notes that created a cathartic atmosphere in the heat of a midsummer night.
The dress by the New York-based designer Andrea Jiapei Li was a mixture of asian fantasy and futuristic fabrics, creating volumes and shapes that perfectly suited to Björk's movements on stage. The outfit was completed with a beautifully embroidered mask by J T Merry, giving the look of a butterfly in a field of daisies and ivy.
